**JOB DESCRIPTION****:** Audubon is currently seeking a Senior Instrument Design Specialist to join our team in our Houston, TX Office. The Senior Instrument Design Specialist will perform, supervise, and manage assignments and personnel associated with designing instrument equipment, components, structures or systems. **PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES****:** * Supervise medium to large teams producing instrument design and/or deliverables. * Manage associated team's productivity, work assignments, performance with input to hiring, dismissals, and evaluations. * Interview candidates, train personnel, and create/deploy/manage work techniques of team members. * Plan work for self and other team members; estimate project budgets for self and other team members. * Prepare complete design packages which may include, but not be limited to, preliminary, conceptual, and construction deliverables as well as engineering calculations. * Prepare detailed drawings of parts and assemblies from layouts, designs and working drawings including necessary projections, sectional views and standard specifications. * Interpret verbal or written direction to initiate a preliminary design. * Perform sizing and e...
