Description

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer\-oriented Data Scientist to join our Data and AI Practice. This is a remote position with a preference for candidates located in the National Capital Region. Ability to travel for initial onboarding and laptop pickup (estimated 1 day). As a Data Scientist, you will support a key Federal customer with high impact advanced analytics, data science pipeline development, and interactive data visualization for custom client applications. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: * Apply and validate data mining methods and machine learning models. * Design and implement data\-driven solutions, with a specific focus on advanced analytical methods, data models, and visualizations. * Develop quantitative simulations and models to provide descriptive and predictive analytics solution recommendations. * Identify trends and problems through complex big data analysis. * Maintain current knowledge of emerging tools and techniques in machine learning, statistical modeling, and analytics. * Serve as a key member of a data science project team, supporting other data scientists and consultants in the performance of assigned tasks.
