A Bothwell Regional Health Center pharmacist oversees medication therapy, verifies orders and dispenses medications, and collaborates with medical staff to ensure safe patient care in hospital and clinical settings. **JOB SUMMARY:** The clinical/ staff Pharmacist is available in patient care areas on a 24\-hour call basis. Maintains a complete drug profile, monitors drug therapy and relates it to clinical laboratory tests and adverse drug reactions, is available to physicians to help plan the drug regimen and assists the nurse in managing the drug portion of the patient care plans for which he/she is responsible. In addition, is an available source of drug information reinforced by an organized drug information service. The Pharmacist is responsible for analysis, confirmation, and order entry of drug orders for patients prior to filling of orders by qualified technicians and subsequently prior to dispensing manually or through AMDS.
