Job Description Jet Medical Center is seeking a full\-time Medical Assistant to provide clinical and administrative support in a fast\-paced occupational medicine practice. This position assists healthcare providers with patient care, prepares patients for medical evaluations, performs routine diagnostic testing, and helps ensure an efficient patient experience. Responsibilities * Obtain and accurately document patient vital signs, weight, medical history, medications, allergies, and other pertinent information in the EMR. * Prepare patients for evaluation by physicians and physician assistants. * Perform blood draws, including venipuncture and finger sticks. * Perform drug and alcohol testing and specimen collections. * Perform routine diagnostic testing, including EKGs. * Maintain specimen integrity using proper collection and handling techniques and established procedures. * Administer injections, treatments, and laboratory testing as directed. * Apply durable medical equipment (DME) and bandages as directed by the healthcare provider. * Assist with phones and other front\-office duties as needed. * Maintain a clean, organized, and professional clinical environment. * Perform ot...
