**Company Description:** Banks Development is a high\-end custom home builder located in the Washington DC Metropolitan area. Our projects are typically in Bethesda, Maryland, Chevy Chase, Maryland, Potomac, Maryland, Washington DC (NW), Northern Virginia, and the eastern shore of Maryland. **Position:** Lead Carpenter/Supervisor **Desired skills and expectations of position:** Perform high quality finish and rough carpentry work. Serve as the lead carpenter and primary field leader. This position would lead to becoming a superintendent \- overseeing construction projects from inception to completion. (If you are currently a superintendent, we are happy to consider you for an immediate superintendent role). Supervise and direct carpenters, laborers, and subcontractors. Read and interpret architectural plans, drawings, and specifications. Assist with material take\-offs, ordering, and material management. Coordinate daily work activities and maintain job site productivity. Communicate with project manager and company management regarding job progress, materials, and scheduling.
