About Us Floor Shield of East Tennessee installs high\-performance polyaspartic concrete coating systems for residential and commercial customers — garages, basements, patios, warehouses, and commercial floors. We do the prep right, we install it right, and our floors hold up. We're looking for an experienced tech who takes the same pride in the work. The Role You'll do full installation process from bare concrete to finished floor: mechanical surface prep, repairs, and multi\-coat polyaspartic application. This is hands\-on field work on weekend job sites, most of which start and finish in a day or two. This is a great fit if you're looking for weekend side work. If you already install coatings, flooring, or do concrete work during the week and want to put your Saturdays and Sundays to use, we want to hear from you. No weekday commitment — you work the weekend jobs and that's it. What You'll Do ● Mechanically prepare concrete using walk\-behind and hand grinders with diamond tooling to achieve the specified CSP profile ● Run dust extraction/HEPA vacuum systems and keep job sites clean and contained ● Diagnose slab conditions — moisture, existing coatings, contamination, laitance, ...
