Description

The Accountant performs a variety of accounting functions, including analyzing diverse and complex information to ensure timely and accurate reporting that supports management decision\-making. This role ensures compliance with regulatory agencies, audit requirements, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), while developing and maintaining systems and controls to protect the integrity of financial data. The Accountant also supervises clerical staff, manages projects, controls cash receipts and disbursements, files tax returns, ensures timely and accurate payrolls, manages vendor and customer relationships, and oversees cash applications to customer accounts.**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:** * Must exhibit a bachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited four\-year college or university. Proof of degree required.
