JOB SUMMARY The Research Data Analyst (RDA) will support the Principal Investigator in a broad scope of research\-related activities taking place in the United States The RDA will plan, coordinate, and oversee data systems for research studies i.e. database set\-up, data management, developing and pilot\-testing questionnaires, conducting quality assurance, preparing recruitment reports, overseeing system for data queries, and monitoring study retention. The RDA will function as a liaison between site data managers/programmers for the purposes of database creation and management, and will plan and coordinate weekly or semi\-weekly meetings among data staff to regulatory track progress and troubleshoot issues. This position involves working with a variety of UCSF and non\-UCSF faculty and staff to complete data entry and securely transfer data to approved academic partners. Study databases will be created and maintained in the UCSF secure research environment using RED\-CAP.
