Responsibilities: **Job Summary:** Assists in the preparation of financial reports, budgeting, forecasting and analysis. Reviews, prepares, and reconciles financial statements and transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles. Analyzes financial and accounting data and processes to identify trends, variances and opportunities for improvement. As part of the Accounting \& Finance department, performs various tasks, such as month\-end closing, audit preparation and financial planning. Assists with ad\-hoc projects and initiatives as needed. Requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail and proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. **Key Responsibilities \& Essential Functions:** Accounting: * Develop / modify segments of an accounting system, including associated accounts, records, reports, and controls * Prepare and post journal entries including accruals, deferrals and reclassifications * Perform regular reconciliations of accounts to ensure the accuracy of financial records. * Prepare documentation and provide support during internal and external audits * Build quality relationships by providing reports, graphs, and charts to illu...
