**We are currently looking for a full time Transportation Manager for our company in Fairborn, OH.** **Introduction:** This position is responsible for establishing and maintaining a smooth operation of the Transportation Department. Provides general supervision of all Transportation employees and functional processes within the department. Responsible to maintain a properly staffed and trained department. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities:** * Maintain effective and timely scheduling of all delivery routes and ensure proper route coverage. * Responsible for compliance and knowledge with Federal Department of Transportation regulations and other safety standards. Maintain fleet in a safe manner in accordance with company and governmental standards. * Must be on call during off duty hours and may be required to cover last minute delivery routes. * Must maintain communication within the transportation team and company management. * Enforcement of general company policies and issuance of disciplinary documentation to teammates and Management/Human Resources. * Strong knowledge of Drivers Handbook. * Knowledge of backhaul procedures. * Exhibit working knowledge of ELD, scanning p...
