Description

Duties Description Under the direction of the Administrator, the Plant Superintendent C will oversee the daily operations of the physical plant and maintenance department. This includes planning, supervising, coordinating, and directing the activities of staff in the installation, operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, testing and calibration of mechanical and electrical equipment providing heat, hot water, ventilation, air\-conditioning, water/sewage treatment, and electrical distribution. The Plant Superintendent C will administer all maintenance contracts for primary building systems. They will manage staff, including contract staff while on\-site, by establishing work priorities, overseeing work in progress, ensuring timely completion of projects, and reviewing completed work to assure quality and adherence to instructions/contract. The Plant Superintendent will be the immediate supervisor of skilled and semi\-skilled tradespersons, including recruitment and selection, training, performance evaluations, and managing time \& attendance.
