Job Standards: * Position requires completion of a certified program for medical assistants. * Basic Life Support training and CPR certification preferred. * Computer experience and keyboard familiarity required. * Used Athena before is not required but preferable * Excellent customer service and communication skills. * Ability to work as a team member * Proficient in patient work flows and multitasking * Highly motivated and organized * Empathetic with patients' needs and concerns * Excel under pressure * Attention to detail is imperative * Medical receptionist experience 1 year * Bilingual (Spanish) preferred. * Basic reading and math skills gained in high school in order to complete administrative tasks and record information in patient files.
