Immediate need for experienced medical assistant in a busy Gastroenterology clinic . At least 1 year experience in back office or medical assistant required. knowledge and experience with electronic medical records is necessary and Eclinical EMR a plus . Must have excellent communication skills and enjoy patient care. Tasks includes but not limited to : \-Rooming patients \-Scheduling procedures/ Imaging \-Prior authorization for procedures and medications a must \-Entering labs and imagings \-Calling patients with results \-Answering phones \-Preparing charts for clinic \-Scanning /Faxing \-Patient communication skills a must.
