US Foot \& Ankle Specialists is looking for a Medical Assistant to join our growing podiatry practice. If you enjoy working directly with patients, supporting physicians, and being part of a team, we'd love to meet you! You'll work alongside our podiatrists providing hands\-on patient care in a professional, fast\-paced outpatient setting. Hands\-on training and ongoing clinical training are provided, making this a great opportunity for an experienced Medical Assistant or someone looking to grow their clinical skills. **Essential Functions/Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):** * Welcome, room, and prepare patients for exams and in\-office procedures * Take vitals, update medical histories, record medications/allergies, and document in the EMR * Assist physicians with minor procedures, post\-op care, digital X\-rays, and basic podiatric services * Apply dressings, DME, and provide patient instructions and education * Manage lab specimens, complete insurance verifications and pre\-authorizations, and process prescriptions as directed * Make post\-operative phone calls, answer patient questions, and provide excellent customer service * Open, prep, clean, and close exam ro...
