This position is based in the Las Vegas region within the Workforce Development Unit, where Family Services Specialists play a vital role in empowering individuals on their path to vocational training and/or employment. The unit takes a holistic approach, aiming to lift customers out of poverty by providing comprehensive support and resources. In this role, you will conduct assessments, assist customers in crafting resumes, collaborate with partners on co\-funding for vocational training, and participate in job and resource fairs. You will also facilitate cohort orientations, deliver presentations, provide wraparound services, and maintain ongoing engagement with customers to help them achieve their education and career goals.
