**BASIC FUNCTION:** The Government Financial Analyst is responsible for the oversight of all federal, state, and local grants and contracts, ensuring compliance with contract expectations and reporting requirements as well as financial forecasting ensuring that all funds are properly spent. Oversight includes maintaining project schedules to ensure timely reporting along with expense reporting to maximize the funding and any match requirements associated with the source. They will review information received from Directors and subgrantees for accuracy, providing education and guidance as needed to ensure understanding of the reporting and compliance requirements and accuracy of the reports as well as any of requests from CPO, CFO, CEO, and Director of Compliance. They will identify gaps in funding and strive to match potential sources to achieve CMHA initiatives. They will apply a methodical and analytical approach to meeting the needs of all CMHA programmatic funding opportunities.
