**Job Title:** Nurse Educator **Department:** Nursing Education **Location:** Canton\-Potsdam Hospital **Hours Per Week:** 37\.5 scheduled weekly hours **Schedule:** 8\-hour shifts from 8:00 am\- 4:30 pm**,** Monday \- Friday **SUMMARY** Provides and/or facilitates learning opportunities for employees, patients/residents/clients and the community in order to promote quality care, enhanced wellness, and on\-going growth and development. **RESPONSIBILITIES** * Identifies and validates the learning needs of customers by utilizing needs assessments, CQI results, performance improvement results, customer surveys, and course evaluation results. * Develops educational programs and curriculum that promote quality health care, employee or patient growth, and personal wellness. Programs will be based on current literature findings. Materials will be developed using current research in the field. * Implements and/or facilitates programs to meet the identified learning needs of our customers.
