Description

Responsible for assisting Operations, Purchasing and Sales Departments dispatching of inbound and outbound material and communicating with both Company, third party logistics, and management concerning transportation issues. Performs a variety of shipping and receiving tasks including checking orders, maintaining receiving records, and preparing receiving reports. Performs cycle counts and organizes regularly scheduled physical inventories. Assists with backup order fulfillment/forklift duties as assigned. Salary Range: $20\.00 \- $24\.00 per hour DOE. **Principal Accountabilities \& Deliverables** * Monitors and contains transportation costs, including the development of spread sheets showing delivery zones and routes * Assists Operations Manager in scheduling and tracking inbound material through third party logistics * Assists in scheduling all customer deliveries in coordination with third party logistics, Operations, and Sales Departments * Checks and turns in shipping manifests to office daily * Completes resolving of pick tickets, prints delivery tickets for routes, and completes ASN reports daily * Makes suggestions to improve inventory accuracy * Acts as expert resource fo...
