**Position Summary** The Buyer sources, purchases, and expedites materials, equipment, tools, and services required to support ship repair and maintenance projects. The Buyer will work closely with project managers, supervisors, warehouses, and vendors to ensure materials are delivered on time and within budget. **Duties** * Process purchase requisitions and issue purchase orders for materials and services. * Source suppliers and obtain competitive quotations. * Track and expedite orders to ensure timely delivery. * Maintain good relationships with approved suppliers and subcontractors. * Coordinate with project teams, warehouse personnel, and vendors regarding material requirements and delivery status. * Verify purchase order accuracy and ensure compliance with company procurement procedures. * Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock replenishment. * Maintain procurement records and supplier documentation. **Qualifications** * High school diploma required; certificate or degree in Business, Supply Chain, Purchasing, or related field preferred. * 2\+ years of purchasing or procurement experience a plus * Experience in ship repair, marine, industrial, or construction environm...
