**Location** ============ ST. LOUIS, MO 63110 **Position Summary** ==================== Postdoctoral Research Associate positions are available in the Shmuylovich Laboratory at WashU Medicine. Our lab develops and translates novel optical imaging technologies for noninvasive diagnosis and monitoring of human disease, with a particular focus on skin imaging across the full spectrum of skin pigmentation. We combine biomedical optics, multispectral and infrared imaging, spectroscopy, image processing, computational analysis, and clinical investigation to develop technologies that can improve diagnostic accuracy and reduce disparities in care. Current projects span visible, near\-infrared, and short\-wave infrared imaging and include applications in dermatology, vascular disease, tissue injury, and physiologic monitoring. The laboratory works at the intersection of engineering, physics, computation, and clinical medicine, with opportunities to participate in device development, optical system design, image and signal analysis, translational studies, and human\-subject research.
