Overview: Defines, implements, and owns the organization’s overall sourcing strategy (for new product development) and develops a procurement plan, the definition of requirements, the selection of suppliers, the development of offers, lead negotiator, the development/execution of contracts, and the management of contracts. Leads operations that build value\-driven vendor partnerships focusing on risk management, reliability, and cost\-effectiveness for the New Product Development Supply Chain across the company. This includes the near\-time planning time fence (within the y ear) and out\-going years. Responsible for the budget, order fulfillment, and/or inventory of area of responsbility (Product Development/Programs). Responsible initiating the supply chain (New Product Development) for a several hundred million dollar annual spend.
