The Johnson City Schools is looking for a School Nurse to serve our students at Indian Trail Middle School. Under the direction of the designated district nursing supervisor and in collaboration with the school principal, the School Nurse provides professional nursing services that protect and promote student health, support student attendance and learning, respond to illness and injury, coordinate care for students with health needs, and maintain a safe, confidential, and well\-organized school health clinic. **QUALIFICATIONS** 1\. Hold a current, unencumbered Tennessee Registered Nurse (RN) license. 2\. Graduation from an approved nursing education program and successful completion of the applicable licensure examination. 3\. Demonstrated knowledge of nursing principles and practices, student health needs, infection prevention, emergency response, and health documentation. 4\. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English and communicate effectively with students, families, school personnel, and healthcare providers. 5\.
