SUMMARY The Production Manager will be directly responsible for production floor operations, products, equipment and personnel. The production managerial role is a “hands on” position. DUTIES \& RESPONSIBILITIES * Oversee daily production operations; support to Plant Manager in all aspects of manufacturing process, including improvements to process * Enforce quality control and set quality standards * Detect and resolve faults/breakdowns, including planning and implementing corrective measures * Ensure on time production and delivery * Working with senior management to implement company policy and goals * Participate in trials of new material, endorsement of molds and new equipment in accordance with the standard requirements * Ensure that training programs for production staff are planned and delivered * Ensuring health and safety guidelines are followed * Supervising a team of multi skilled personnel * Identify and address training needs and refresher training * Providing on call technical support for process and basic mechanical issues if required * Work closely with operations, purchasing, engineering, and quality to achieve manufacturing results * Oversee planned maintenance o...
