Engineering Assistant I, II, or III Structural Materials Section \- (2602402\) Position Information Materials and Tests Division's Structural Materials (STR) Section is looking for an Engineering Assistant (EA) I, II, or III who has excellent problem\-solving skills, is eager to learn, and will enjoy working with a group of talented professionals to ensure quality on Texas roadways. The EA will work alongside a team of professionals to provide direct engineering support to STR's field inspection personnel located throughout the State of Texas in the areas of precast prestressed concrete, structural steel, and non\-bridge steel. The work also entails supporting TxDOT's 25 districts by ensuring the quality of structural prefabricated materials furnished to construction and maintenance projects statewide comply with specifications and working alongside an experienced quality assurance team to assess the operations of precast concrete and steel fabrication plants.
