**What You Will Do** The Engineering Technology and Design Division (E) is seeking a Staff Operations Manager (SOM). Reporting to the E Division Leader, the SOM will serve as a key member of the Division Leadership Team, a strategic partner to Division management, and the line manager for the Division's administrative team. The SOM will advance business and operational excellence while playing an integral role in formulating, communicating, and executing E Division strategy in support of its technical mission. The SOM will provide direct line management and leadership for the administrative team, including assigning and prioritizing work, establishing expectations, ensuring appropriate staffing and coverage, and holding staff accountable for results. Responsibilities include performance and salary management, professional development, coaching, and recognition. In partnership with E Division managers, the SOM will align administrative support with mission needs, promote consistent service across the Division, and build a collaborative team with the skills and capacity to meet evolving demands.
