Sorkin Engineering Services PC ("SES") is a small civil\-structural engineering firm looking for a full\-time structural engineer. Two to five years of experience is preferred, however entry level candidates will also be considered. Position to start immediately upon finding the right candidate. Job Description: Civil\-Structural Engineer will provide support to Principal Engineer, Gary Sorkin, on projects ranging from large commercial buildings to smaller residential projects throughout the tri\-state area. This is a great learning experience for a junior Civil\-Structural Engineer or recent graduate. Job will include (1\) providing drafting and modeling support related to structural design plans; (2\) preparing supporting calculations and reports related to the structural engineering work being performed; and (3\) attending site visits to help document existing conditions (photos, notes, etc.). Position will be partially remote with 2\-3 days required in the office (located in Fairfield, NJ). Additional site\-visits will be required. Flexible hours/days can also be accommodated.
