Professional Health Care of Pinellas is seeking an energetic, friendly Medical Assistant to support our Post Acute Care Providers. This position offers a guaranteed 40 hour per week schedule. 8 am to 5pm\* Monday through Friday. Hybrid remote work setting. Benefits package includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k with matching, company paid Life Insurance, PTO, holiday pay and sick time. The Medical Assistant performs a variety of administrative activities, including insurance verification, scheduling and chart prep. Delivers excellent customer service and maintains established quality standards. Qualifications and Skills: Registered or certified as Medical Assistant is preferred or equivalent work experience. Experience working in Post Acute Care (SNF, ALF, ILF) settings is preferred. Knowledge of: Medical Terminology, Medications, Diagnosis and treatment documentation. Insurance verification system experience such as Availity. Must have strong Interpersonal skills and excellent Customer Service skills. Must have strong data entry skills and prefer experience with Excel. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment. eClinicalWorks experience is a plus...
