Overview: Savannah River Mission Completion (SRMC) is seeking a **CSA (Civil/Structural/Architectural) Design Engineer** to be based in our Aiken, SC location on the Savannah River Site. The CSA Design Engineer in the Design Services organization implements solutions to engineering challenges to meet standards set by the Department of Energy (DOE) for the Savannah River Mission Completion project. Responsibilities: * Create structural computations and design deliverables of various structures for new construction and modification purposes * Provide structural engineering evaluations of new designs and field construction to determine the adequacy of the design with respect to safety basis and applicable building code requirements * Provide civil/structural design input to new projects and plant modifications * Review and approve relevant procedures * Perform self\-assessments of existing programs and procedures related to Structural Engineering roles and responsibilities * Review and approve procurement specifications * Review supplier submittals and documents * Other duties as assigned Additional Information: Candidate(s) selected to receive an offer will be offered the position le...
