**Position Summary** The Chief Financial Officer leads financial strategy, planning, reporting, and controls for a multi\-location fuel and convenience store business. The position provides executive leadership with reliable financial information and recommendations on profitability, capital allocation, acquisitions, and sustainable growth. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities** * Oversee accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP. * Lead the monthly close and ensure balance sheet accounts are reconciled and supported. * Develop annual operating budgets and forecasts covering payroll, fuel and merchandise purchases, sales, acquisitions, operating expenses, and capital expenditures. * Analyze budget\-to\-actual results, store\-level profitability, gross margins, and financial trends. * Oversee retail accounting, fuel accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and treasury. * Manage cash flow planning, working capital, banking relationships, and financing obligations. * Lead financial due diligence and evaluate acquisition and capital investment opportunities. * Establish internal controls, approval authority, and segregation ...
