**Distinguishing Features of Work** ----------------------------------- This is an administrative and managerial position with direct responsibilities for the maintenance of all Airport Authority (WAA) owned vehicles, and equipment, as well as airfield pavement, streets, parking lots, pavement markings, signage, and all grounds, including landscaping and irrigation systems. Duties include directing, managing and overseeing the Airport Grounds and Fleet Division consisting of supervisors, equipment operators and mechanics. Considerable independence is exercised in all phases of work. Direction is received from the Assistant Director of Airports, Chief Operating Officer.
