**Position Description: PEP (Pre\-Anesthesia) Team Registered Nurse** **Job Title:** PEP Team RN **Department:** Anesthesia/Pre\-Op **Reports To:** Anesthesia Director, Medical Director, Administrator **Employment Type:** Full\-Time **Position Summary** The PEP Team Registered Nurse (RN) plays a vital role in ensuring patient safety by conducting thorough pre\-anesthesia assessments. This includes collecting medical and surgical histories, current medications, and other relevant data to facilitate safe and effective anesthesia care. The RN collaborates closely with anesthesiologists and surgical teams to review patient readiness and communicates essential information for the anesthesia plan. **Education and Experience Requirements** * High school diploma or GED * Graduate of an accredited nursing program * Current Registered Nurse license in Delaware or Compact State * BCLS certification required * Prior experience with pre\-anesthesia screening in an outpatient surgical setting strongly preferred **General Requirements** * Proficiency in using personal computers, EMR systems, and office equipment * Familiarity with PACS systems * Strong knowledge of medical terminology, human anat...
