**Overview** We are seeking a dedicated part\-time Registered Nurse to join our growing, independent Ambulatory Surgery Center Team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care in a fast\-paced environment, and possess a background in the peri\-operative setting. No nights, weekends, holidays, or call. **Responsibilities** * Provide direct patient care in the peri\-operative setting of an ASC * Administer medications and treatments as prescribed * Monitor and record patient vital signs\- Assist with diagnostic tests and procedures in a surgical setting * Educate patients and their families during their care in the surgical setting * Prepare necessary supplies and equipment for surgery * Conduct pre\-op calls and post\-op calls with patients (or guardians) * Document patient care thoroughly **Experience** * RN experience in pre\-op, operating room (OR), or PACU preferred, but will train the right candidate * Able to multitask in a very fast\-paced environment\- BLS, ACLS \& PALS * An understanding of HIPAA compliance and ability to follow CMS guidelines and regulations. **Qualifications** * RN License * BLS Certification * ACLS Certification preferred * PALS Certificati...
