**JOB DESCRIPTION** **Position Summary** The Customer Service Specialist provides customer service and administrative support for water, sewer, and storm drain for several utility companies. This position assists customers with service applications, billing inquiries, payments, and account changes; coordinates work orders; and supports daily office operations. Success in this role requires clear communication, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while providing courteous, timely service. **Key Responsibilities** * Process utility service applications, including new account setup, service changes, and cancellations; verify information and maintain accurate customer records. * Respond to customer inquiries by phone and email regarding utility services, billing, payments, account status, and service requests. * Handle inbound and outbound calls and provide clear, professional verbal and written communication. * Create, track, and coordinate work orders with appropriate staff; follow up on outstanding requests and communicate updates to customers. * Assist with monthly billing, including pre\-bill review and finalization of water invoices. * Process onlin...
