**About this Job** ------------------ The Office of State Parks (OSP) serves the citizens of Louisiana and visitors by preserving and interpreting natural areas of unique or exceptional scenic value, planning, developing and operating sites that provide outdoor recreation opportunities in natural surroundings, preserving and interpreting historical and scientific sites of statewide importance and administering intergovernmental programs related to outdoor recreation and trails. This position is located at the State Parks Administrative Office in Baton Rouge, LA. The purpose of this position is to direct and administer the Division of Outdoor Recreation Program for the Office of State Parks, which includes research, grants administration, funding and development of outdoor recreation facilities. This position is the primary administrator of two Federal grant programs \- the Land and Water Conservation Fund (LWCF), and Recreational Trails Program (RTP). These programs provide more than $1\.5 million in Federal funds annually to Louisiana state agencies, political subdivisions, non\-profit organizations, and individuals for acquisition of and/or development of outdoor recreation facil...
