Description

The Property Manager will be assigned to specific property(ies) owned and managed by Sanford Housing Authority. The target population being served could be near elderly, homeless, elderly, families, or people with a disability. Additionally, the funding supporting the project may be Low\-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC), Project Based Voucher (PBV), Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) or Project Based Rental Assistance (PBRA). The responsibilities of the Property Manager are similar regardless of the property they work at. However, there are some site and funding\-specific requirements for each property. All property Managers will also be required to follow the identified requirements for their site\-specific project which can be found at the end of this job description. The Property Manager acts as the Housing Authority’s on\-site representative and is responsible for protecting the property and the tenants, while supporting the Housing Authority’s mission.
