**Financial Specialist Intern** **Financial Specialist Intern** In this role, you will report to the Enabling Unit Lead and become actively involved in projects and initiatives that require applying financial knowledge to a wide range of situations with varying degrees of complexity. You will support proper costing of products and inventories, as well as timely monthly financial closing and reporting of manufacturing variances for a chemical manufacturing site. **YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES** The primary responsibilities of this role, Financial Specialist Intern, are to support the Site Controllers to: * Develop the annual operating budget for the site; * Develop annual product cost rollups for product cost standards, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and error resolution; * Analyze cost center spending and value flow (assessments) for consistency with the operational plan; * Develop periodic cost estimates; * Be accountable for account reconciliations and communicate significant impacts; * Collaborate with site leadership and operations teams to ensure drivers of financial impacts are understood; * Collaborate with project managers to ensure compliance with Capital versus Expense...
