Overview: Kimley\-Horn's Chicago, Illinois (IL) office is seeking a Civil Engineer with 2\+ years of experience to join their Natural Gas team! This is not a remote position. Responsibilities: * Our Natural Gas team works on projects including: * Project Due Diligence and Site Constraints * Jurisdictional Permitting and Agency Coordination * Assist in monitoring project progress, budgets, and schedules * Work on Horizontal Directional Drill design, Distribution \& Transmission pipeline design, regulator station design, DOT relocation and coordination, and more * This is an exciting opportunity to work with a team of engineers and designers on a variety of gas projects * You will flourish on both building meaningful internal and external professional relationships * You will work closely and collaboratively with other industry leading professionals, various jurisdictions, and contractors Qualifications: * 2\+ years of relevant engineering design experience * Candidates should have experience within the Energy discipline including experience with design, permitting, and applicable software applications * Experience with task management, concept design, and assisting project managemen...
