**Job Summary** **Element Concrete** is seeking a **Concrete Estimator** with some project manager duties for a growing company. This position will be responsible for reviewing construction drawings and documents, performing accurate quantity takeoffs, preparing competitive estimates, and assisting with the bidding and preconstruction process for commercial concrete projects. **Responsibilities** * Review construction plans, specifications, addenda, and bid documents * Perform detailed concrete quantity takeoffs, including: * Footings and foundations * Slabs\-on\-grade and elevated slabs * Foundation and retaining walls * Reinforcing steel/rebar * Formwork * Concrete paving, sidewalks, curbs, and related site concrete * Determine labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor requirements * Obtain and review supplier and subcontractor pricing * Prepare detailed cost estimates and bid proposals * Identify scope gaps, exclusions, clarifications, and potential project risks * Review project schedules and determine manpower and production requirements * Attend pre\-bid meetings and site visits when necessary, along with scheduling duties * Communicate with general contractors, suppliers...
