**Job Summary:** The Mechanical Commissioning Lead is a project position responsible for facilitating commissioning planning and execution of commissioning activities for the mechanical scopes of the commissioning project. The Mechanical Commissioning Lead supports the Commissioning Manager, Commissioning Engineers and Superintendent in completion of all planning and execution activities to meet project deadlines. **Experience \& Education:** * Minimum 8 years’ experience in commissioning * Engineering degree or technical qualification required * Working knowledge of appropriate regulatory requirements and restrictions * Extensive knowledge of oil and gas facilities and associated control and safety systems * Proven ability to effectively and efficiently work as part of a team and independently * Proven ability to effectively lead a team (up to 30 people) * Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate and work well with others * Proven ability to promote client relationships * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Ability to travel within the US, offshore and internationally * Work to promote the 5\-levels of leadership philosophy and GATE Energy standards f...
