The Medical Assistant (MA), under direction from a Registered Nurse, Nurse Practitioner, or physician, performs routine clinical and clerical functions to assist providers in the delivery of patient centered medical services for assigned departments within the CMU Health faculty group practices (Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology, General Surgery, Endocrinology, etc....).
