Job Title: Logistics and Material Specialist Job Location: 1562 Mitscher Avenue, Norfolk, VA 23551 Job Category: Logistics Specialist Job Status: Full Time Salary Range: $29\-$31/hr Job Description: Applicant must display technical knowledge in all aspects of material procurement, receipt, inventory control, and material issue. Work alone when required and attend production meetings. Applicants must have experience with the following files/procedures: * Transmittal Report (TL) Weekly Financial Obligations Report * Budget OPTAR Report (BOR) Monthly Financial Report * Knowledge of all aspects of FLC and DLA operating procedures * NAVSUP regulations, polices, procedures and instructions. Applicants should be proficient in the following: * Expeditious handling of high\-priority material requirements * Monitoring receipts due, receipt, stowage, and issuance of material against job control numbers. * Processing adjustments on inventories and accounting for payment of invoices. * Use of all MS products Additional responsibilities: Include maintenance or modernization availability planning, on\-site training for ship's force personnel in the areas of identification of material requirements...
