This position will be located remotely, ideally in Pheonix, AZ or Austin, TX. Other locations also considered.** **Summary:** The Technology Scout serves as an architect of external innovation, identifying breakthrough technologies and new business opportunities through global scouting across academia, startups, and adjacent industries. It builds and prioritizes technology opportunity pipelines and shapes strategic partnerships, joint ventures, licensing, and IP strategy as a principal technical evaluator. The role provides leaders with forward\-looking technology intelligence, including scenario planning, risk assessments, and analyses of disruptive forces to guide long\-term investment decisions.
