**Pediatric Private Duty Nurse (LVN/RN) – Shavano Park, TX** ============================================================ **Full\-Time, Part\-Time, and PRN Opportunities Available** First Steps Nursing and Therapy is seeking compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) and Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide one\-on\-one care for a pediatric patient in the home setting. **Case Details** ---------------- **Patient:** 12\-year\-old **Care Needs:** G\-tube and ventilator care; non\-ambulatory (Low Acuity) **Shifts:** Friday–Sunday 6:30 AM–6:30 PM **Responsibilities** -------------------- * Provide direct, hands\-on nursing care to the assigned patient * Assess the patient’s condition and document observations * Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and therapies * Provide and manage G\-tube, ventilator, and tracheostomy care * Monitor vital signs and perform ongoing nursing assessments * Communicate changes in condition to the nursing supervisor and/or physician * Educate and support family members and caregivers * Complete accurate and timely documentation in Kantime **Requirements** ---------------- * Active, unencumbered Texas RN or LVN license * Current CPR certificatio...
