**About this Job** ------------------ The Audit Services Division of the Louisiana State Employees’ Retirement System (LASERS) is currently hiring an internal auditor. This position offers a great opportunity in the Baton Rouge area and may be filled at the Auditor 1, 2, or 3 level, depending on qualifications. Entry\-level hires, including recent graduates, will get hands\-on training and support as they build their skills. Experienced hires will plan and lead engagements. We are looking for a candidate who is highly motivated, professional, a quick learner and adaptable. The person in this position interacts with all levels of management and must possess strong communication skills (written and oral). The candidate must be detail oriented, possess the ability to solve problems, and be willing to pursue professional certifications that pertain to the position. The candidate must also be a self\-starter and display critical thinking when conducting reviews.
