The Director of Finance is responsible for the financial administration and fiscal operations of Spartanburg County First Steps. This position oversees accounting, budgeting, accounts payable and receivable, payroll\-related financial activities, grant financial management, cash management, financial reporting, compliance, and audit support. The Director ensures financial activities are accurate, timely, properly documented, and compliant with agency policies and applicable state and federal requirements. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES** **Financial Management \& Reporting** * Oversee general ledger activity, account reconciliations, journal entries, and financial records. * Prepare monthly financial statements, Board reports, and budget\-to\-actual reports; investigate variances. * Develop and monitor agency, program, center, and grant budgets, including revisions and reallocations. * Monitor cash flow, bank activity, deposits, reconciliations, and grant funding needs. **Accounts Payable, Procurement \& Credit Cards** * Review invoices, purchase requests, purchase orders, reimbursements, and payment documentation. * Coordinate vendor, rent, center, and other payments and administer Certif...
