A full\-time accounting position is now available at a boutique law firm in southeast Wisconsin. The primary responsibilities of this position include the preparation of complex income tax returns (with a focus on Forms 1041, 1065 and 990\-PF), managing the firm's tax return docket, and overseeing the staff and process of filing state and federal tax returns. The position will also be involved in implementing tax\-planning strategies, review and payment of quarterly estimated taxes, and tax\-related research. In addition, the position may also involve participation in the firm's trust accounting practice, preparation of estate and gift tax returns, and a broad range of bookkeeping and billing activities. Ideal candidates will have the following credentials: · A bachelor's or master's degree. · A CPA designation. · At least five years of professional income tax preparation experience. · Experience preparing complex fiduciary and partnership income tax returns. · Proficiency in ProSystem fx tax preparation software.
