**PURPOSE** The Volunteer Director is responsible for building and leading the volunteer program including developing a strong volunteer culture, ensuring volunteers are well\-trained, creating an excellent volunteer experience, and helping the organization expand its capacity to serve neighbors. The Volunteer Director will also lead the volunteer recruiting efforts through promoting open positions, interviewing, and onboarding new volunteers. **PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES** (1\) Recruit potential volunteers: * Create and distribute recruitment flyers. * Partner with the Development \& Marketing Director: * Network with churches, businesses, and other organizations to increase community awareness and volunteer interest and to build strong community relationships. * Coordinate and prepare presentations for community outreach events and meetings. * Promote volunteer opportunities via postings on various platforms. * Manage the volunteer page on the organization’s website.
