**Overview** The Evergreen Soil \& Water Conservation District (ESWCD) which serves Smyth County, and is located in Atkins, VA, is accepting applications for the position of Administrative Services Outreach Specialist (ASOS). This is a full\-time employment position and will have a dual role, responsible for the daily processes of the SWCD. **Duties** Secretarial duties, customer service, accounting practices, coordinating meetings, procurement duties for purchasing, managing services, inventory, maintaining funds, obtaining additional grants and/or funding, while maintaining and growing business partnerships. The ASOS is responsible for district education outreach, promoting water conservation through a variety of meaningful educational programming for youth and adults, managing the Evergreen SWCD classroom activities, correlating, and partnering with all Evergreen SWCD staff to carry out the objectives in the Evergreen SWCD Strategic Plan. **Skills** Education and/or experience in office technology, clerical duties, accounting software such as QuickBooks, social media engagement, education, and/or environmental science is preferred.
