**This position is open to** **Alaska Residents only****.** **Please check our** **residency definition** **to determine if you qualify.** **The Alaska Psychiatric Institute (API) is recruiting for a** **Medical Records Administrator** **What You Will Be Doing:** Oversee daily health information management operations, including medical record completion, coding, storage, security, auditing, and reporting. Develop and update policies and procedures to maintain compliance with state and federal regulations, applicable standards, and medical staff requirements. Review and authorize releases of medical information and represent the department when records are required for court proceedings. Supervise and train staff, monitor documentation accuracy and timeliness, and support computerized health information systems.
