**Political Canvasser — Temporary** **Pay:** $25\.00 per hour **Location:** Los Angeles area **Hours:** 30 hours per week If you’re outgoing and like talking to people, this could be the job for you. We’re hiring canvassers to help **get out the vote for labor\-endorsed candidates** in the **November 3, 2026 General Election**. You may begin by calling voters before moving to door\-to\-door canvassing in assigned neighborhoods. You’ll share election information, encourage people to vote, distribute materials, and record your conversations on a mobile device. Training will be provided. **Regular schedule:** Monday through Thursday, 1:30–7:30 p.m., and Sunday, 11:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. You’ll also need to be available for occasional Saturday events and the weekend before Election Day. Your schedule may be adjusted during those weeks. **Requirements** * A reliable car to get to canvassing locations * Comfort talking with people by phone and at their doors * Ability to walk outdoors for up to four hours and carry up to 10 pounds of materials * A computer or laptop, internet access, and a headset if phone banking is done remotely Canvassing experience is helpful but not required.
